At this point, two types of operation are available on the PLZ-5W depending on which action
is set to be executed at OCP detection.
If the action set to be executed at OCP detection is Trip, load off is executed.
If the action set to be executed at OCP detection is Limit, the PLZ-5W sinks current as a con-
stant current load at point F. Even if you attempt to increase the input current by decreasing
the resistance, the current is limited at point F. If you decrease the input current by increasing
the resistance, the OCP is cleared. The PLZ-5W returns to CR mode, and the operating point
moves along segment AF.
Trip
Turns off the load (stops the current flow). The PLZ-5W no longer operates as a load.
Point F
CR mode ends. OCP continues, and the PLZ-5W sinks current as a constant current
