4.4.5 HEAT PUMP
EQUIPMENT ON/OFF
HEAT PUMP will display instead
of SOLAR HEAT/EXTRA AUX
when installed correctly. Select to
turn heat pump on and off.
• Filter pump must be on, heat pump
must be in "Heat Mode" and the
heat pump switch must also be set
to "Heat Mode".

HEAT PUMP - RS485
• Set the DIP Switch S2-1 to OFF
and connect the solar sensor to the
solar sensor input to operate a heat
pump and solar.
• Set the DIP Switch S2-1 to
ON and connect the heat pump
temperature sensor to the solar
sensor input to operate a heat
pump without solar heat control.
4.4.6 CHILLER
EQUIPMENT ON/OFF
CHILLER will display instead of
SOLAR HEAT/EXTRA AUX when
installed correctly. Select to turn
Chiller on and off.
NOTE: It is not possible to operate
a combination of SOLAR HEAT,
HEAT PUMP/CHILLER and/or
EXTRA AUX simultaneously without
RS485 control. With RS485 Control,
SOLAR HEAT and HEAT PUMP/
CHILLER functions can be maintained
and operated simultaneously
• Filter pump must be on, heat pump
must be enabled in "Chiller Mode"
and the heat pump switch must
also be set to "Chiller Mode".

operate the chiller mode of the heat
pump.
• Uses chilling temperature set point.
• CHILLER will display as long as
the water temperature is greater
than the chilling temperature set
point. Otherwise HEAT PUMP is
displayed.
• Chiller set point is alway 5°F
higher than heater set point.
