MAINTAIN TEMP feature is
active.
• The default setting for two (2)
hours.
• Sampling interval can be set to
one (1), two (2) or four (4) hours.

3.5.4 FREEZE PROTECT

Select to set the temperature for
the FREEZE PROTECT function
and to assign which equipment
will activate when freezing
conditions are detected.
• Freeze protected equipment
will turn ON when freezing
conditions are detected.
• Activation temperature can be
adjusted between 34°F and 42°F.
• Default activation temperature
is 38°F, and deactivation
temperature is within 2°F.
Freeze protection is intended to protect equipment and plumbing for short
periods of freezing only. It does this by activating the filtration pump and
circulating the water to prevent freeze inside equipment or plumbing.
Freeze protection does not guarantee that equipment will not be damaged
by extended periods of freezing temperatures or power outages. In these
conditions, the pool and spa should be shut down completely (e.g. drained
of water and closed for the winter) until warmer weather exists.
