7. Make sure the UV lamp cable is tucked behind the chamber before
closing and relatching the door.
8. Reinstall the Easypure II top cover, if installing Ultrafilter on D8611 or
D7411 units do not reinstall cover until Ultrafilter installation is
complete.
Note The UV lamp contains mercury. If broken or no longer needed, do
not dispose of the UV lamp in the trash. Recycle or dispose of the UV
lamp as hazardous waste.
Caution DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS PORTION OF THE LAMP!
Even a light coating of perspiration will reduce the effectiveness of the
lamp.

Refer to Figures 6-2 and 6-3. See Water Connection Details section for
information on push-to-connect fittings.
1. Disconnect the power cord from the unit.
2. Remove the screws securing the EasyPure II top cover.
3. Remove the top cover by lifting straight up.
4. Locate the three tubes with the twist tie around them and remove the
twist tie.
5. Remove the ultrafilter from it's protective bag.
6. Align the ultrafilter (side ports should face the back of the unit) and
push the bottom fitting tightly
into the bottom connector.
7. Push the top fitting of the
ultrafilter into the top
connector, making sure the
connections are tight.
8. Secure the ultrafilter with the
strap. Side ports will be facing
the back of the unit.
Note The ultrafilter comes
complete with fittings installed.
