Review your packing list and make sure you have received all the parts before beginning installa on. 2. If you are going to turn off the water to your house and you have an electric water heater, shut off the power to the water heater before beginning installa on in case the water heater is accidentally drained.

    Pro‐OX Iron Filter 1650 with Chlorine Side Tank Installa on & Startup Guide 7. The drain line tubing (not supplied) is connected to a drain from the drain outlet using flexible 1/2” ID tubing. Note that the drain can run up above the 165 control valve and into a drain—it does not have to drain down, as the filter backwashes under line pressure from your well pump.

    Pro‐OX Iron Filter 1650 with Chlorine Side Tank Installa on & Startup Guide Maintenance Add 1 cup of Clorox or other non-perfumed bleach to the chlorine side tank 1 to 4 mes a month. If there is sulfur or high levels of manganese, we recommend once a week. If there is no sulfur odor, then add 1 cup of Clorox to the chlorine side tank once a month.
