14. Insert 3/8" diameter tubing into the chlorine side tank connec on. Simply push the tubing into the
fi ng un l it can go no further. The tube should be snug in the fi ng (Fig. 6A). If you need to remove
the tubing, hold the flanged ends of the tube against the fi ng and firmly pull the tubing out (Fig. 6B);
simply pulling on the tubing can damage the fi ng.
15. Remove the rubber band and felt polypro pad from the tank and discard. Add 2 cups of non-perfumed
household bleach to the tank, followed by 2 gallons of water. Note that the tank may not be used with
solid chlorine pellets or powder, just liquid bleach.
16. Plug your Canature 165 control valve into an outlet. A er being plugged in, the screen may display
"WAITING PLEASE" while it finds the service posi on. By default, the control valve will be set to work
like a water so ener, which is obviously not correct for this applica on, so you'll need to program the
system to work as an iron filter. There are a few se ngs that must be changed before the system can
be put into service for this purpose.
