Basic key operation

The control keys are used to configure the printer as follows. For more detailed
explanations on these keys, refer to the printer's User's Manual.
Note that these keys have the second function which is invoked when the key is pressed
simultaneously with the
Key
ON LINE/STATUS Switches the printer online and offline. Prints a page of status information.
FEED/SIZE Selects the cassette feed, paper
feeder, or manual feed.
SLEEP/CANCEL Sets the sleep mode. Pressing this key
a second time turns off the sleep
mode.
SHIFT Invokes the secondary functioin of each of the above keys when pressed
together.
