3. With the platform in the transport (stowed) position.
a. Drive the machine on a grade, not to exceed the
rated gradeability, and stop to ensure the brakes
hold.
b. Check the tilt indicator light/alarm to ensure proper
operation. The light/alarm should be activated
when tilted at or beyond the values in Table 2-2.

NOTE: When the tilt indicator warning is activated the following
functions are affected;
ANSI/CSA Spec - Drive and Lift functions are disabled,
platform must be lowered (stowed) to drive out of tilt con-
dition.
CE/AUST Spec - Drive and Lift function are NOT disabled.
