Start-up, calibration and operation of the burner

5.1

Notes on safety for the first start-up

The first start-up of the burner must be carried out
by qualified personnel, as indicated in this manual
and in compliance with the standards and
regulations of the laws in force.

Combustion head adjustment

The number of the holes (1-2-3-4) in linkage 1)(Fig. 29) corre-
sponds to the opening notches on the shutter (0 min. - 10 max)
and therefore to increase the burner output, move this linkage to-
wards the higher number.

Adjustments prior to ignition (light oil)

It is recommended to adjust first the light oil burner
and then the gas burner.
Carry out the fuel change with burner off.
ATTENTION
The optimum calibration of the burner requires an analysis of the
flue gases at the boiler outlet and interventions on the following
points.
