5.4 IPMI

The X13SRA-TF supports the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI). IPMI is used
to provide remote access, monitoring and management. There are several BIOS settings that
are related to IPMI.

5.5 Logging into the Baseboard Management (BMC)
Controller
Supermicro ships standard products with a unique password for the BMC ADMIN user. This
password can be found on a label on the motherboard.
When logging in to the BMC for the first time, please use the unique password provided by
Supermicro to log in as an administrator. After loggin in, you can change the administrator
password to protect your security. When logging in as an administrator, you can also create
a user account and set the password of your choice for subsequent logins.
