Steps
Installing Expansion Card Risers Blanks
1. If the risers are not going to be replaced, then install riser blanks, and if required tighten the captive screws.
● Unlock the metal bracket latches on either sides.
● Slide and align the metal brackets into place and lock the latches on both ends to secure it in place.
NOTE:
You must install a filler bracket over an empty expansion card slot to maintain Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) certification of the system. The brackets also keep dust and dirt out of the system and aid in
proper cooling and airflow inside the system.
