Replacing parts/modules

7.2.1

Replacing the upper part

Only very few wear parts on the device can be replaced. The
reason being that there are parts/modules which are fitted
together and must be set up exactly as a whole. The
manufacturer has the knowledge required for the exact set-up.
Therefore, in this point, the replacement of the complete upper
part (lid with attached actuator) will predominantly be referenced.
Replacement upper parts can be requested from the
manufacturer, if necessary.
7.2.2

Side openings

The side openings between the valve lid and the actuator's
black upper housing may not be sealed.
These must remain open for the release of water, should there be
any leaks.
7.2.3

Sending in the actuator with valve lid

Observe the following steps:
1.
Disconnect the unit from the power supply.
2.
Remove the transparent lid.
3.
Release the electrical connection cable.
4.
If necessary, stop the water feed to the valve (close the slide
valve).
5.
Remove the nuts on the valve lid
6 pieces on the R 41
10 pieces on the R 51
6.
If necessary, put the hand valve lid on.
7.
Send the disassembled actuator with valve lid to the
manufacturer or put a new actuator on. See point 8.2 on
page 55.
7.2.4
Replacing the upper part
When replacing the upper part, ensure the new upper part is
assembled correctly according to the cams on the housing.
The square cam in the valve lid and the valve must match.
7.2.5

Lid screw for R51

One lid screw is shorter than all the others. This screw must be
found in the position above the inspection glass.
7.2.6

Emergency operation

A hand level and various small supplies are enclosed with the
device. If necessary, the electrical actuator can thus be removed
and the hand lever put on.
