The
induction
hob
or hotplate has shut
down
unexpectedly,
an
audible
signal
sounds and an error
code
is
displayed
(usually
alternating
one or two digits in
the cooking time timer
display).

Display of error codes

When a fault occurs, the induction hob automatically enters protection mode and displays the
corresponding protection codes:
Fault code
E4/E5
E7/E8
E2/E3
E6/E9
The table above shows causes and solutions for the most common problems.
CAUTION: Do not disassemble the appliance yourself in order to avoid danger and
damage to the induction hob.
Technical issue.
Possible causes
Defective temperature sensor.
Defective IGBT temperature sensor.
Abnormal power supply voltage.
Poor heat from the induction hob.
Please write down the error code;
turn off the induction hob, unplug it,
contact a qualified technician.
Remedy
Contact the manufacturer.
Contact the manufacturer.
Check whether the power supply
voltage is normal or if there are any
voltage fluctuations.
Switch on the hob only after the
supply voltage has returned to
normal.
Restart the induction hob after it has
cooled down.
