    4 : NUTZUNGSBESTIMMUNGEN Nützliche Ratschläge GEFAHR: Lassen Sie den Topf bei eingeschaltetem Kochfeld niemals unbeaufsichtigt, da das Fett Feuer fangen könnte. GEFAHR: Personen mit einem Herzschrittmacher sollten vor der Verwendung dieses Geräts ihren Arzt konsultieren. ACHTUNG: Vor Wartungs- und Reinigungsarbeiten muss das Gerät von der Stromversorgung getrennt werden.
  • Page 24 4.1.1 Betrieb der Induktionskochplatte Die Platte verfügt über Induktionskochzonen. Die Wärme wird direkt am Boden des Topfes erzeugt, ohne Verluste durch die Glaskeramikoberfläche. Der Energieverbrauch ist geringer als bei herkömmlichen Kochplatten, die nach dem Strahlungsprinzip arbeiten. Die Glaskeramik-Kochplatte heizt nicht direkt, sondern nur durch die Rückwärme, die vom Topf abgegeben wird.
  • Page 25 4.1.2 Für das Induktionskochen geeignete Töpfe. ACHTUNG: Verwenden Sie nur Töpfe und Pfannen, die für Induktionskochfelder geeignet sind. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich das Induktionssymbol auf der Verpackung oder auf dem Boden des Topfes befindet. Bei Induktionskochfeldern werden die Töpfe durch ein starkes Magnetfeld sehr schnell erhitzt. Die Induktionskochplatte funktioniert einwandfrei, wenn geeignete magnetische Töpfe verwendet werden.
  • Page 26 4.1.3 Topfgrößen Induktionskochzonen passen sich innerhalb einer bestimmten Grenze automatisch an die Größe des Topfbodens an. Die Effizienz des Kochzone hängt vom Durchmesser des Topfbodens ab. Töpfe mit einem kleineren als dem Mindestdurchmesser nehmen nur einen Teil der von der Kochzone erzeugten Wärme auf.
  • Page 27 4.1.4 Energieersparnis Befolgen Sie diese praktischen Tipps, um beim Kochen Energie zu sparen. WICHTIGER HINWEIS: Achten Sie bei der Zubereitung von Gerichten mit langer Garzeit im Schnellkochtopf darauf, dass sich immer genügend Flüssigkeit im Topf befindet, ein leerer Topf könnte sowohl die Platte als auch den Kochtopf selbst beschädigen. HINWEIS: Stellen Sie die Töpfe auf die Kochzone, bevor Sie es einschalten.
  • Page 28 4.1.5 Verwendung der Tasten (Touch) Die Tasten reagieren auf Berührung, es ist nicht nötig, sie zu drücken. - Verwenden Sie die gesamte Fingerkuppe, nicht nur die Spitze. - Das akustische Signal zeigt an, dass die Taste, die Sie gerade drücken, aktiv ist. - Achten Sie darauf, dass die Tasten immer sauber und trocken sind und dass keine Gegenstände (Küchenutensilien oder ein Tuch) sie verdecken Schon eine dünne Wasserschicht kann die Betätigung der Tasten erschweren.

  • Page 33 4.2.3 Starten des Kochvorgangs 1 - Drücken Sie die Einschalttaste ON/OFF (1), die Anzeigen auf dem Bedienfeld zeigen "-". Ein kurzer Piepton bestätigt, dass das Gerät eingeschaltet ist. Alle Elemente auf dem Bedienfeld leuchten für eine Sekunde auf und schalten sich dann aus, was anzeigt, dass sich das Kochfeld im Standby-Modus befindet.
  • Page 34 4 - Drücken Sie je nach Modell die Garstufeneinstelltasten "+/-" (2) oder verwenden Sie den Schieberegler (2), um die Garstufe einzustellen. Die auf dem Display angezeigte Leistungs-/ Garintensitätsstufe variiert von 1 bis 9 (0, Kochzone ist ausgeschaltet). Je höher die Stufe, desto größer ist die Garintensität.

  • Page 39 4.2.7 Funktion Heizzone Flex (nur Modell KM8800IF-28) - Sie können diese Zonen als "flexible“ Bereiche (auf einer oder beiden Seiten des Kochfelds) oder als einzelne Kochzonen aktivieren. - Platzieren Sie die Töpfe derart, dass sie richtig erkannt werden und die Wärme gleichmäßig verteilt wird.

    4 : HOW TO USE Preliminary advice DANGER: When the hob is in operation, never leave the dish unattended as the fat could catch fire. DANGER: Persons with a pacemaker should consult their doctor before using this unit. CAUTION: Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning operation, the appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.
  • Page 84 4.1.1 Operation of the induction hotplate The hob is fitted with induction hotplates. Heat is generated directly at the bottom of the dish, without any losses through the ceramic glass surface. Energy consumption is lower than that of conventional heaters, which operate on the radiation principle. The ceramic glass hotplate is not heated directly, but only by return heat transmitted by the dish.
  • Page 85 4.1.2 Appropriate cookware for induction hotplates CAUTION: Only use cookware appropriate for induction hobs. Make sure that the induction symbol is present on the packaging or on the bottom of the dish. With induction cooking zones, dishes are heated very quickly by a strong magnetic field. The induction hotplate works properly if using appropriate magnetic cookware.

The efficiency of the hotplate depends on the diameter of the bottom of the dish. Dishes with a diameter smaller than the minimum will receive only part of the heat generated by the hotplate. NOTE: When using a special dish you must follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
