6 : MAINTENANCE

6.1

Cleaning and care

Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning work, make sure that the hob is switched off.
In case of:
Everyday dirt on the
ceramic
glass
hob
(fingerprints,
marks,
food stains or non-
sugary spills on the
ceramic glass hob)

Method of intervention:
1. Turn off power to the hob.
2. Apply induction hob cleaner to the
still warm (not boiling hot!) ceramic
glass hob.
3. Clean with a damp cloth and dry
with a clean cloth or kitchen towel.
4. Switch power to the hob back on.
WARNINGS
• When the hob is switched off, there
is no "hot surface" indicator, but the
hotplate may still be hot! Therefore,
please always be very careful.
• Avoid using sponges, nylon scrapers
and harsh/abrasive detergents as
they may scratch the glass panel.
Please always check the label of the
detergent or abrasive sponge to see
if they are suitable.
• Never leave detergent residues on
the hob, the glass could get stained.
