Connection of hob to mains

Before connecting the hob to the mains, check the following:
DANGER: Do not use adapters, reducers or branches to connect the hob to the mains,
as they could cause overheating and fire. The power cord must never touch hot parts and
must be arranged in such a way as to not exceed a temperature of 75°C at any point.
CAUTION: Any modification to the electrical system of the house may only be carried out
by a specialised technician.
WARNING: Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a specialised
technician according to the manufacturer's instructions and in compliance with the
regulations in force.
WARNING: Check with a specialised technician that the electrical system of the house
is suitable for the power used by the hob, check the values shown on the appliance
nameplate.
WARNING: The appliance power supply must be connected via a single-pole
disconnector/contactor, or, in any case, in compliance with current local regulations.
WARNING: The cable must be checked regularly.
If the power cord is damaged or needs to be replaced, this can only be done by a
specialised technician with suitable equipment to avoid accidents.
WARNING: If the appliance is connected directly to the mains, a single-pole disconnector/
contactor must be installed with a minimum distance of 3 mm between the contacts.
WARNING: The installer must ensure that the electrical connection has been made
correctly and that it complies with safety standards.
WARNING: The ceramic glass hob must be connected to a power supply with a general
impedance lower than 0.427 ohm. If necessary, contact the utility service provider for
information on impedance.
WARNING: Do not bend or press on the cable.
