• The components included in delivery must not become damp or wet. Do not place
objects such as vases or plants on or near the surveillance camera or the wall power
supply. Liquids could enter into the interior of the housing and impair the electrical safe-
ty of the device. There is also a very high risk of fire.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous toy
for children.
• Maintenance, adjustment, or repair work must only be carried out by a specialist/special-
ist workshop.
• Thunderstorms can be a risk to any electrical device. Voltage overloads in the mains
supply can damage the device. Therefore, remove the wall power supply plug from the
wall socket during a thunderstorm.
• The regulations of the Accident Prevention & Insurance Association for electric facilities
and equipment must be observed in commercial premises.
• In schools, educational centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the operation of the
product is to be supervised by trained employees.
• The wall power supply is a protection class II product. As power source only use a 230
V/50 Hz (10/16 A) mains socket from the public mains. Never try to operate the device
using a different voltage source.
• Only use the wall power supply plug included in delivery.
• Ensure that all the electrical connections and connection cables between devices and
any extension cables comply with regulations and the operating instructions.
• Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or parts are removed (unless
these parts are intended to be removed without tools). Terminals may also be live. If the
appliance needs to be opened for calibration, servicing, repair or replacement of parts or
assemblies, it must be disconnected from all voltage sources first. Any necessary servic-
ing or repair on the open device must be carried out by a specialist who is familiar with
the risks involved and the relevant regulations.
• The wall power supply plug/power line must not be plugged in or unplugged with wet
hands.
• Never pull on the power cable. Only unplug it at the power outlet.
• When installing the device, make sure the connection cables are not squeezed or dam-
aged by sharp objects.
• Remove the wall power supply plug from the wall socket if the device is not used over a
longer period of time.
