Start-up, calibration and operation of the burner

5.1

Notes on safety for the first start-up

The first start-up of the burner must be carried out
by qualified personnel, as indicated in this manual
and in compliance with the standards and regula-
tions of the laws in force.

Combustion head adjustment

In order to optimise performance, the burner is equipped with a
variable geometry combustion head which operates on the basis
of the delivered output.
According to the same servomotor rotation, it is possible to mod-
ify the opening of the combustion head by moving the lever
2)(Fig. 22) on 1-2-3-4-5-6 holes, after loosening the screw 1).
The choice of the hole (1-2-3-4-5-6) to use, depends on the dia-
gram (Fig. 21) according to the maximum power demand.
The adjustment is pre-set in factory for the minimum stroke (hole
0).

Position of electrodes

Place the ignition electrodes observing the dimen-
sions specified in Fig. 23.
