8.2.16 Additional external NaClO solution storage tank
installation
It is possible to install an additional NaClO solution storage tank
downstream the standard NaClO solution storage tank. However
this additional tank can never replace the standard NaClO solution
storage tank which is required to control the electrolysis process.
The additional external equipment (level sensors, transfer pump,
etc.) required for this setup must be controlled via a separate
control cabinet. It cannot be monitored or controlled via the
Selcoperm control cabinet.

8.2.17 Special installation with hydrogen hose centering piece
inside the building
If it is not possible to pipe the hydrogen hose horizontally to the
outside of the building, install the hydrogen hose centering piece
horizontally inside the installation room.

The safety concept requires a gas warning system for this kind of
installation.
Install a hydrogen sensor close to the ceiling between the
hydrogen hose centering piece (11b) and the point where the
ventilation line leaves the building.
Install a self-contained gas warning system. The gas warning
system must have a potential-free output contact, which is
directly connected to the customer's main control cabinet to shut
down the whole system in case of gas leakage. The contact
type of the output contact must be NC (normally closed) to
ensure the safety shutdown even in case of wire breakage.
If the room has different ceiling heights, install another hydrogen
sensor at the highest point of the ceiling and make sure the gas
warning system monitors both sensors.

8.3 Electrical connection

DANGER
Electric shock
Death or serious personal injury
Before making any electrical connections, switch off
the power supply and make sure that it cannot be
accidentally switched on.
All electrical connections must be carried out by a
qualified electrician in accordance with local
regulations.
All electrical connections must be carried out in
accordance with the separate wiring diagram delivered
with the system.
