13. Handling

Observe all the safety instructions and information contained in these
operating instructions!
The product must not be opened or dismantled (except for the battery replacement described
in these operating instructions). There are no parts inside the product which require any
maintenance by you.
Do not drop the product even from a low height as this might damage it.
Do not expose the product to the following unfavorable ambient conditions during operation:
- moisture or excessive air humidity
- extreme hot and cold temperatures
- direct sunlight
- dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- strong vibrations
- strong magnetic fields such as they might occur near machines or loudspeakers
The room thermostat must be operated only if it is firmly installed (e.g. wall installation).
Never touch the product when your hands are damp or wet. Danger of a life-
threatening electric shock!
