i) Connecting an air conditioning system

Normally, the room thermostat is connected to a heating installation. As mentioned before, it
can also be used to control an air conditioning system.
For this purpose, several particularities have to be observed:
• The DIP switch 1 must be set to "ON" (see chapter 11.h).
• The comfort temperature is lower than the lowering temperature. This is very important for
setting and programming.
• The switch-on/switch-off process is reversed compared to the sue of a heating installation:
The cooling system will be switched on, if the room temperature is higher than the defined
temperature.
• In cooling mode, the anti-freeze function is automatically disabled. If the switching program
0 is selected, the room thermostat switches the connected air conditioning system OFF!
• In cooling mode, the time delay of 5 minutes (see chapter 11.h) is always enabled. DIP
switch 2 is without function.
