6. Safety Instructions

In the case of any damages which are caused due to the failure to observe
these operating instructions, the guarantee will expire.
We do not assume any liability for resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions.
The guarantee will expire in any such case!
Dear customer,
the following safety instructions and danger warnings are not only to protect your health but
also to protect the device. Carefully read the following points:
• Only people with an appropriate training are entitled to work on live parts.
If you do not have such a training, consult a qualified electronics expert.
In case of improper work at the mains voltage, there is danger of a life-
threatening electric shock! If in any doubt, do not carry out mounting and
installation on your own!
Make sure that the mains voltage cannot be switched on by third parties
during installation work. This can be assured e.g. by means of mechanical
safety devices and additionally by means of flashy warning labels.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmis-
sible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The design of the product complies with safety class II.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children. Place
the product in such a way that it is out of reach of children.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
• Only load the device up to the capacity indicated (breaking capacity of the
integrated relay: 230V~/50Hz, 5A in case of resistive load or 3A in case of
inductive load). A capacity overload might involve the destruction of the
device, a fire or an electric accident.
• Do not use mains cables which are too weak. The mains cables must be
dimensioned in compliance with the load to be connected.
