Laundry became stiff after washing. (**)
• Too little detergent may have been used. >>> Using too
little detergent for the water hardness can cause the
laundry to stiffen in time. Use an appropriate amount of
detergent according to the water hardness.
• The detergent may have been put in the wrong compartment. >>> If
you add detergent in the prewash compartment, even if you have
not selected a prewash program, the machine may use this
detergent during the rinse or softening step. Put the detergent in
the correct compartment.
• Detergent may be mixed with fabric softener. >>> Do not mix the detergent
with the fabric softener. Wash and clean the drawer with hot water.
Laundry does not smell like the fabric softener. (**)
• The detergent may have been put in the wrong compartment. >>> If you
add detergent in the prewash compartment, even if you have not

• The detergent in the main wash compartment got wet while the
machine was absorbing the prewash water. The holes in the
detergent dispenser may be clogged. >>> Check the holes and
clean them if they are clogged.
• There may be a problem with the detergent drawer valves. >>> Call
the authorized service technician.
• Detergent may be mixed with fabric softener. >>> Do not mix the detergent
with the fabric softener. Wash and clean the drawer with hot water.
There is still detergent in the laundry.
• Machine may be too full. >>>Do not overload the machine.
• Bad program and temperature selected. >>> Select
the correct program and temperature for the
laundry to be washed.
• The wrong detergent may have been used. >>> Select a
suitable detergent for the laundry to be washed.

Too much foam is forming in the machine. (**)
• Incorrect detergents may have been used for the washing
machine. >>> Use detergents that are suitable for the
washing machine.
• Too much detergent may have been used. >>> Use only
sufficient detergent.
• The cleaning agent may have been stored under
unsuitable conditions. >>> Store the detergent in a
closed and dry place. Do not store it in excessively warm
places.
• Forced laundry such as tulips can foam too much due to
their texture. >>> Use less detergent for these types of
fabrics.
• The detergent may have been placed in the wrong compartment. >>> Place
detergent in the correct compartment.
• The softener is taken in too early >>> There may be a
problem with the valves or the detergent drawer. Call
the Authorized Service Technician.
Foam comes out of the detergent drawer.
• Too much detergent may have been used. >>>> Mix 1
tablespoon of water softener and l of water and pour into the
main wash basin of the detergent drawer.
• Put an amount of detergent in the machine
suitable for the programs and maximum load as
indicated in "Table of program and
consumption". If you add chemical products
(stain removers, bleaches, etc.) you should
reduce the amount of detergent.
Laundry remains wet after the program
has ended. (*)
• Using too much detergent may cause too much
foam and activate the automatic foam
absorption system. >>> Use the recommended
amount of detergent.
