4.7.2 Detergent, fabric softener
and other cleaning agents
• Add detergent and fabric softener before
starting the washing program.
• Never open the detergent drawer while the
washing program is in progress!
• If you run a program without prewash, do not
put liquid detergent in the prewash
compartment (compartment no. "1").
• If you use a program with prewash, you
must start the machine after adding the
powder detergent in the prewash and
wash compartment (compartments 1
and 2).
• Do not select a program with prewash when using
a detergent bag or detergent ball. Place the bag
or bulb directly between the laundry in the
machine. Remove after drying.
• If you use liquid detergent, do not forget to place
the liquid detergent container in the main wash
compartment (compartment no. 2).
• When the machine is in the Drying step, do
not add detergents (liquid detergent,
softener, etc.).
4.7.3 Selecting the detergent type
The detergent to be used depends on the
washing program, type of material and colour.
• Use different detergents for colored
and white clothes.
• Wash your delicate clothes with special
detergents (liquid detergent, wool detergent,
etc.) especially for delicate clothes and on the
recommended programs.
• It is recommended to use a liquid
detergent for washing dark clothes
and blankets.
• Wash wool on the recommended program
with a special wool detergent.
• View the program descriptions section for
recommended programs
for different substances.
• All detergent recommendations are
valid for the selectable
temperature range of programs.

4.7.4 The amount
adjust detergent
The amount of detergent to be used depends
on the amount of laundry, the degree of
soiling and the water hardness.
• Do not exceed the dosage recommended on
the packaging of the
detergent to avoid problems such as
excessive foaming, poor rinsing,
financial savings and also
environmental protection.
• Use less detergent for small amounts
or lightly soiled clothes.
4.7.5 Using fabric softeners
Place the softener in the softener compartment of
the detergent drawer.
• Do not exceed the (>max<) level in
the softener compartment.
• If the softener is no longer very liquid,
dilute it with water before placing it in
the detergent drawer.

4.7.6 Using liquid detergents

4.7.6.1 If the product is
fitted with a liquid
detergent container:
• Place the liquid detergent container
in compartment No. "2".
• If the liquid detergent is no longer very liquid,
dilute it with water before adding it to the
liquid detergent compartment.
4.7.6.2 If the product is
fitted with a liquid
detergent compartment:
• Press the dot indicated to turn the appliance if
you want to use liquid detergent. The part that
falls down will act as a seal for the liquid
detergent."
• If necessary, clean the appliance with water
while it is in place or by removing it.
