5.21 HomeWhiz and the
remote control function
With HomeWhiz you can use your smart device
to control your washing machine and get
information about it. Thanks to the HomeWhiz
application, your smart device allows you to
perform a number of procedures that you can
also perform on the machine. In addition, you
can only use some functions with the HomeWhiz
function.
To use your device's bluetooth function, you
must download the HomeWhiz app from your
device's app store. Make sure your smart device
is connected to the internet to download the
app.
If you are using the app for the first time, follow the on-
screen instructions to complete the registration
process. Once registration is complete, you will be able
to use all products of the HomeWhiz feature in your
home on this account.
In the HomeWhiz app, you can tap "Add/
Remove Device" to see the products associated
with your account. You can link these products
on this page.

INFORMATION
• To use the HomeWhiz function, make sure
that the app is installed on your smart
device and that your washing machine is
paired with your smart device via
bluetooth. If the washing machine is not
paired with your smart device, it will
function as an appliance without the
HomeWhiz function.
• Your product will run once paired with your
smart device via bluetooth. Controls
created from the app are enabled through
this link. Therefore, the bluetooth signal
between the product and the smart device
must be strong enough.
• Visit www.homewhiz.com to see the
Android and iOS versions supported by
the HomeWhiz app.

to the remote control via the HomeWhiz

5.21.1 HomeWhiz Setup
Your product and the HomeWhiz app must be
connected for the app to work. To make this
connection, follow the steps below to set up
both your product and the HomeWhiz app.
• If you are adding a device for the first time, tap
"Add/Remove Device" on the HomeWhiz app.
Then tap on "Tap here to set up a new device".
Follow the steps below and the instructions on
the HomeWhiz app to complete the setup.
• To start the setup process, make sure your
machine is turned off. Press and hold the
temperature button and the remote
control function button at the same time
for 3 seconds
to put your machine into HomeWhiz
setup mode.
• When the device is in HomeWhi setup mode,
you will see an animation on the display and
the bluetooth icon will blink until your
machine is paired with the smart device. In
this mode, only the program button is
enabled. Other buttons are disabled.
• On the app screen, select the desired
washing machine and tap Next.
• Follow the on-screen instructions until the
HomeWhiz app asks you about the product you
want to connect to your smart device.
