Program time does not count down. (On models with
screen) (*)
• The timer may stop during water intake. >>> The timer
indicator will not count down until the machine has received
sufficient water. When the amount of absorbed water
decreases, the machine waits until enough water has been
absorbed to avoid bad washing results. The timer indicator
will resume the countdown after this period.
• The timer indicator may stop during heating. >>> The timer
indicator will not count down until the machine has reached
the selected temperature.
• The timer indicator may stop during spinning. >>> The
automatic unbalanced load detection system may have
been activated due to the uneven distribution of the
laundry in the drum.

Using hard water together with insufficient
detergent can cause a build-up of dirt and graying
of laundry over time. It is difficult to eliminate the
graying after it occurs. Use the recommended

hardness and the wash.

recommended amount of detergent that is suitable for the
water hardness and the laundry.

detergent in the correct compartment. Do not mix bleach and detergent
together.

Clean the drum regularly. See 6.2.

• Prolonged washing at low temperatures and/or with
short programs causes odor and bacteria in the drum.

not be suitable. >>> Use a detergent that is suitable for the
washing machine and your laundry. Store detergent sealed
in a moisture-free area and do not expose it to extreme
temperatures.
• The detergent may have been put in the wrong compartment. >>> If
you add detergent in the prewash compartment, even if you have
not selected a prewash program, the machine may use this
detergent during the rinse or softening step. Put the detergent in
the correct compartment.
• The pump filter may be clogged. >>> Check the filter.
• Drain hose may be crimped. >>> Check the drain hose.
