Click Initialize... and open Disk Utility.
Note: If the window above is not displayed, follow the instructions below:
(1) Navigate to Go - Utilities in the menu bar.
(2) Double-click Disk Utility.

Click the drive to be formatted.
Note: Formatting will erase all data on the drive. Don't format the wrong drive!
