17. Make the necessary corrections to the connections, baud rate, and/or COM
port.
STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
18. Are you sure the PC is good and cable connections are correct?
If YES, continue with Step 19.
If NO, go to Step 37.
NOTE:
The equipment is probably good if the PC and cable work with a different
system.
19. Replace the user interface panel.
STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
20. Was the following message received?
/* Status, execution stopped. */
/* Communication link could not be established.
Please connect PC with DDM-2000 upgrade program and start
again. */
If NO, continue with Step 26.
If YES, go to Step 21.
21. Ensure that you are using a PC to upgrade the program. Also, check the
following:
• PC is functioning properly.
• Disk drive is functioning properly.
• Diskette has not been removed.
• Program has not previously been erased from the SYSCTL. Correct any
problems found.
NOTE:
A program upgrade to the near-end DDM-2000 cannot be performed with
a CIT. Ensure that you are using a PC to upgrade the program.
