Stacked Volume Test

The Stacked Volume test measures the volume of multiple breaths to determine the
accuracy of the ventilator in accumulating volume.
To access the Stacked Volume test:
1. Press the MORE/4 key.
2. Use the
and
3. Press the ENTER soft key.
4. Press the MODIFY soft key.
5. Use the keypad to enter the number of breaths for the test and press the ENTER soft
key.
To run the test:
1. Press the START or AUTO soft key to begin the test. The display changes to show
the progress of the test:
The values shown are described below:
Total Volume – The total volume of all breaths together
Last Volume – The volume of the last breath taken
Avg. Volume – The average volume of all breaths taken
Num. Of Breaths – The total number of breaths taken
Total # Breaths – The total number of breaths to be taken
If a stacked volume test is started with the START soft key, the test
accumulates the requested number of breaths and ends. If the test is started
using the AUTO soft key, the test automatically restarts after the requested
number of breaths have accumulated.
2. When the test is complete, press the STACK soft key to start a new stacked volume
test or press the EXIT soft key to exit.
