LDAP Phonebook

Connection Mode Connection Mode Selects which protocol will be used for LDAP searching, LDAP or LDAPS.
Server Address Configures the URI of the LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server.
Port Configures the LDAP server port. The default LDAP port number is 389.
Determines the LDAP search base. This is the location in the directory where the search is requested
to begin.
Base DN Example:
dc=grandstream, dc=com
ou=Boston, dc=grandstream, dc=com
Configures the bind "Username" for querying LDAP servers. Some LDAP
User Name
servers allow anonymous binds in which case the setting can be left blank.
Specifies the bind "Password" for querying LDAP servers. The field can be left blank if the LDAP
Password
server allows anonymous binds.
Configures the "name" attributes of each record which are returned in the LDAP search result. This
field allows the users to configure multiple space separated name attributes.

The default setting is "UTF-8".
Configures the server URL to download the phonebook file.
The phone will send a request to the server to download the phonebook file with filename
phonebook.xml.
Configures user name for HTTP/HTTPS server to download the phonebook file.
Specifies password for HTTP/HTTPS server to download phonebook file.
Determines how the phone to send the request to the server to download the phonebook file. It can
be selected from the dropdown list:

● 5 minutes
● 30 minutes
● 1 Hour
● 2 Hours
● 4 Hours
● 6 Hours
● 8 Hours
● 12 Hours
Starts downloading the XML phonebook to the phone immediately.
