The multimedia system announces the forth‐
coming driving manoeuvre depending on the
settings for the navigation announcements.
An example is the announcement "At the end
of the street in 200 m turn right into Station
Road".
The display is split into two parts. The map is
displayed on the left; on the right, there is a
detailed image of the junction or a 3D image
of the upcoming change of direction.
Change-of-direction phase

The multimedia system announces the immi‐
nent change of direction, e.g. by announcing
"Now turn right".
The display is split into two parts.
The change of direction takes place when the
distance to manoeuvre point
with 0 m and the symbol for vehicle position

has reached manoeuvre point 4.
When the change of direction is complete, the
map appears in full-screen mode.

Lane recommendations overview
This display appears for multi-lane roads.
The multimedia system can show lane recom‐
mendations if the digital map contains the rele‐
vant data.

When driving on the motorway, upcoming motor‐
way facilities

are shown in the overview. These include fill‐
ing stations, parking spaces, service stations and
motorway exits, for example.
To open the display: select r.

The entries are sorted according to increasing
distance from the current vehicle position.
To close the display: tap on the map.
