170 Driving and parking
If you do not fully release the accelerator pedal,
the
Active Distance Assist suspended
appears on the multifunction display. The dis‐
tance to a slower-moving vehicle in front will then
not be set. The position of the accelerator pedal
will determine the speed.
When you pull the cruise control lever towards
you for the first time after starting the vehicle,
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC adopts the
current speed. If the current speed is less than
20 km/h, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
adopts the speed of 20 km/h.
Pulling away again with Active Distance
Assist DISTRONIC
Remove your foot from the brake pedal.

is being braked by Active Distance Assist
DISTRONIC only, the vehicle can roll away.
Always deactivate Active Distance
