aged. In this event, have the camera, its posi‐
tion and its setting checked at a qualified spe‐
cialist workshop.
The field of vision and other functions of the
reversing camera may be restricted due to addi‐
tional accessories on the rear of the vehicle (e.g.
rear bicycle racks).

The media display contrast may be impaired
due to direct sunlight or other light sources.
In this case, pay particular attention.

Have the media display repaired or replaced
if, for example, pixel errors considerably
restrict its use.

Objects that are not at ground level appear
further away than they actually are. This
includes, for example:
the bumper of a vehicle parked behind
R
the drawbar of a trailer
R
the ball neck of a trailer hitch
R
the tail-end of a lorry
R
slanted posts
R
Only use the guide lines of the camera image
for orientation. Do not travel further than the
lowest horizontal guide line when approach‐
ing objects. You may otherwise damage your
vehicle and/or the object.
360° Camera
Function of the 360° Camera
The system consists of four cameras. The cam‐
eras cover the immediate vehicle surroundings.
The system assists you, for example, when park‐
ing or at exits with reduced visibility.
The 360° Camera is only an aid. It is not a substi‐
tute for you paying attention to the surroundings.
You are always responsible for safe manoeuvring
and parking. Make sure that there are no per‐
sons, animals or objects etc. in the manoeuvring
area while manoeuvring and parking in parking
spaces.
The system evaluates images from the following
cameras:
Reversing camera

Front camera
R
Two side cameras in the outside mirrors
R
Views of the 360° Camera
You can use the softkeys located below or to the
side to choose between the following views:
View with softkeys located at the bottom
