1.0 - Introduction
The TE-25N, TE-35N and TE-50N Dry B lock Temperature Ca librators pr oduce
temperature v alues on t he t est b lock or insert s o as t o en able t he calibration of
thermocouples, r esistance t hermometers, gl ass t hermometers, t hermostats, et c.
In combination to pr oducing t he t emperature v alues w ith high ac curacy, it als o
offers t he pos sibility of m easuring t he s ignals gener ated by t hermocouples, r esistance
thermometers, and thermostats t hat ar e b eing m easured. T his is po ssible b ecause it
incorporates a specific calibrator for these signals including 4 - 20 mA.
Thus, it per forms the f unctions of a t hermal bat h, a s tandard t hermometer, a
calibrator for RTD and TC sensors, and even measures mA.
The TE-25N, T E-35N and t he T E-50N models generates t emperatures f rom -
25 ºC to 155 ºC, -35 ºC to 155°C and -50ºC to 155°C, respectively.

generating temperature, it measures the signal from the sensor beign calibrated.
• Makes no use of external standard thermometer.
• Carries out completely automatic calibrations with or without the use of a computer.
• Accuracy to ±0.1°C, stability of ±0.02 ºC and resolution of ±0.01 ºC.
• Comunication between computer and ISOPLAN software.
• Portable, c ompact, pr ovides int erchangeable ins erts an d t ransportation b ag
(optional).
It presents a wide variety of programming resources, allowing the performance of
automatic calibrations of thermocouples, thermoresistances, thermoswitches. In this
case, the sensor is placed in t he insert and its electrical t erminals are c onnected t o the
embedded calibrator. T he operator d efines t he c alibration points a nd the n umber of
repetitions, then the process is started and all the sequence is automatically
accomplished.
