8-4 Entering Ladder Programs
In the Online mode, the Function keys are labeled as shown and described
below.
This function key begins the series of operations which are
MODIFY:
F4
used to edit an existing program. Section 8.3 of this section
explains the MODIFY function in detail.
This function key is similar to the MODIFY function key
INSERT:
F5
and is used to add a new rung to the network. Section 8.3 of
this section gives the details of this operation.
This function key is used to select a section of a program for
BLOCK:
F6
moving, copying or deleting. See Section 8.4 for detailed
explanation.
This function key begins the series of operations which are
FIND:
F7
used to locate network elements or addresses. Section 8.5
provides a description of the operations which become
available through the FIND function key.
This function key will begin the series of operations for
MEMORY:
F8
entering and modifying V and K memory. See Section 8.6.
Pressing the spacebar displays the following additional keys.
This function key begins the series of operations which are
DEBUG:
F1
used to troubleshoot a program. See Section 8.7.
