Configuring Memory
Function Keys Available in the Online Mode.
In the Online mode, Function Keys 1–5 are displayed as shown and
described below.
(READ DisK.) This displays the memory configuration
READDK
F2
from the Program Disk. The message line on the screen will
change to indicate that the data is from the disk.
(WRITe DisK.) This function key sends the displayed
WRITDK
F3
configuration to the Program Disk. You must press this
function key to save any changes which were made in the
configuration.
This function key will obtain the memory configuration
READPC
F4
from the P/C. A message will appear on the screen to
indicate that the data is from the P/C.
This function key sends the displayed configuration to the
WRITPC
F5
P/C. You must press this key if the changes made in the
configuration are to be loaded in the P/C.
Note that only the F1 function key (EXIT) will allow you to leave the
CONFME. Also, if you press the EXIT function key before you save any
changes made to the chart (by pressing the WRITDK or WRITPC function
keys), a warning message will appear. This message states that the changes
were not saved and will be lost. It also asks whether you wish to discard
your changes. If you press the F1 function key for NO, the EXIT operation
will abort and you may save the changes. If you press the F2 function key
for YES, the changes will be discarded and the EXIT operation will proceed.
