NOTICE
The cover slip must not exceed the glass slide at all sides.
Pathology Scanner SG20 / SG60 / SG300
Specification
• 90 degrees (long and short sides) with either a 'cut' or 'ground'
finish side
• 90 degrees 'cut' finish, with 45 degree beveled 'ground' edges
(long sides)
• 45 degrees (long and short sides) with a 'ground' finish
Note:
- A 'cut' finish looks shiny and transparent. The side is similar to a
side of shattered glass.
- A 'ground' finish looks matte. A cut side has been grinded, obtain-
ing the matte ground finish.
• 90 degrees corners (flat, unmodified corners)
• 45 degrees bevelled corners of max. 3 mm along each side
Note: Glass slide corners are either unaltered (90 degree) or have a
'ground' finish, which looks matte.
Nicks at the sides:
• at most 0.5 mm in length and depth along the short sides
• at most 1.0 mm in length and 0.5 mm in depth along the long
sides
• up to 10 nicks in total
Chipped corners:
• at most 1.0 mm in length and 0.5 mm in depth
