3. Push the pin to unlock the
maintenance door (I).
4. Open the door (II).
5. Attach the antistatic wristband to
your wrist (I).
6. Tighten the wristband.
7. Connect the cable to the ESD
bonding point (II).
8. Carefully push the handler to the
left (I).
9. Use the shutter knob to open the
shutter completely (II).
Using a light force is required to
open the shutter.
10. Check for slides lost in the catch
tray (I), on the stage (II) or stage
area (III)
11. If necessary remove the slides, see
chapter "Remove slide from stage
area" on page 86.
12. If necessary remove glass splinters.
Use gloves and some tape or a
vacuum cleaner.
