A JX2 station consists of a JetControl controller and expansion modules con-
nected to it. Communication among devices takes place via the JX2 system bus.
The JX2 system bus is located on interface CAN 1 at terminal X19.
The JX2 system bus needs not be configured. The controller or the bus node au-
tomatically detects connected modules and commissions them.
If third-party CAN or CANopen modules are to be accessed, configuration can be
performed via R 200002077

A JX3 station consists of a JetControl controller or a JX3-BN-xxx bus node and
JX3-IO modules connected to it.
Access to- IO modules is completely transparent, as configuration of the JX3 sys-
tem bus is not required. The controller or the bus node automatically detects con-
nected modules and commissions them.
