Vehicles with an electric socket flap: if an obsta-
cle impedes the electric socket flap while it is
opening, the socket flap closes again automati-
cally and the driver's display shows a correspond-
ing display message.

When the charging cable is connected to the vehi-
cle, the vehicle cannot be started or moved.
At the start of the charging process, the charge
level display is shown in the driver's display with a
charging prediction. The charging prediction
refers to the time at which the high-voltage bat-
tery will be fully charged.

When the vehicle is switched on, a lightning
symbol appears next to the charge level dis-
play in the driver's display during the charging
process.

Depending on the temperature, the fan and
battery cooling system may audibly switch on
during the charging process.

If the vehicle is idle for lengthy periods and
connected to the mains supply, the high-volt-
age battery will be recharged automatically as
needed or when electrical consumers are
activated (e.g. the pre-entry climate control).
Ending the direct current charging process (mode
4)

The charging process uses high voltage.
If the charging cable, the vehicle socket or the
mains socket are damaged, you could receive
an electric shock.
Only use an undamaged charging cable.

at a qualified specialist workshop as
soon as possible.
