Using the 12 V socket in the front passenger foot-
well
Requirements:
Only connect devices up to a maximum of
R
180 W (15 A).
Depending on the vehicle equipment, the vehicle
has a 12 V socket in the front passenger footwell.
Lift up socket cap 1.

Insert the plug of the device.

Make sure that no cables are running through

or secured in the airbag deployment area
when using the socket. Also observe the notes
on airbag protection ( page 105).

USB ports
Depending on its equipment, the vehicle has the
following USB ports:
In the stowage compartment in the front
R
centre console
In the stowage compartment under the front
R
armrest
In front of the stowage tray under the central
R
display of the multimedia system
In the electronics compartment in the centre

console of the rear passenger compartment

Example: USB ports in the electronics compartment
in the centre console of the rear passenger compart-
ment
You can charge a USB device, such as a mobile
phone, at USB ports 1 using a suitable charging
cable. Depending on the vehicle equipment, the
devices can be charged with up to 20 V (5 A)
when the vehicle is switched on.
