To switch on the Limax
Emergency Stop switch must be in pulled-out
(deactivated) position (see also section 6.6.2 "Emergency
Stop Switch", page 44).
If you try to turn on the laser with the keylock switch while
the Emergency Stop switch is still activated (button
pushed in), the STOP indicator (3, Fig. 6-6) will light up
red. This tells you that the laser cannot be started because
the Emergency Stop switch is still in the wrong position.
The LASER ACTIVE indicator (6, Fig. 6-6) indicates the
following operating statuses:
Off
Laser light emission blocked.
Yellow
LASER READY button on and laser pedal (3, Fig. 6-18)
pressed down beyond the switching point:
Emission of laser light as follows:
— Yellow continuous light
As long as the laser pedal is operated and held
down beyond the switching point in continuous-
wave mode.
— Yellow pulsed light
If laser is operated in pulsed mode, this indicator
lights up during pulse times and goes out during
pulse pauses.
