Compressed-Air Hose
A compressed-air hose with an elbow plug for connection to a central gas supply system of
type Dräger (REF 78-215-03-04) is available from the Martin Service Center, see section 2.2
"Hotline", page 11.
For other, country-specific compressed-air hoses, see section 8.4 "Accessories", page 94.
Observe correct sequence when connecting/removing the compressed-air hose!
This prevents the release of forced compressed air (AIR) at the open end of the compressed-
air hose (1).
Danger of injury by using (AIR) MOTOR compressed air!
Do not use (AIR) MOTOR compressed air! The pressure is too high; such air is not suitable
for medical applications.
Never use (AIR) MOTOR compressed-air hoses!

Connecting the Compressed-Air Hose
Connect the compressed-air hose (1) first to

the NIST socket (AIR) of the Limax
(see section 6.2.15 "NIST Socket (AIR)",
page 34, and observe the notices provided
there!)
Thereafter, plug the elbow plug AIR (2) at
•
the other end of the hose into the medical
compressed-air outlet (AIR) of the Dräger
central gas supply system.
When disconnecting the compressed-air
hose, please note
First pull the compressed-air plug AIR (2)
•
from the medical compressed-air outlet
(AIR).
Thereafter, unscrew the
•
NIST connector (14, Fig. 6-2) at the
®
Limax
120 and remove the compressed-air
hose (1).
