VAC (Smoke Evacuator)

The smoke evacuator (VAC) (5, Fig. 6-1) integrated into the Limax
or plume generated during laser therapy. The VAC includes a high-performance air filter (ULPA
standard) to purify the air inside the unit before it is exhausted into the ambient air. The
purification process removes not only noxious substances such as aerosols, which are retained
by the ULPA high-performance particle filter, but bad-smelling organic gases as well.
The suction parameters of the integrated VAC are set via the display of the Limax
section 6.20.10 "VAC program", page 77.
Sucking off liquids can cause significant damage to the main filter as well as the laser unit.
Gebrüder Martin will not accept any liability in such case.
Do not remove any liquids with the VAC!
