Keylock Switch

The keylock switch does not disconnect the unit from the power supply system!
6.6.2

Emergency Stop Switch

The keylock switch (7, Fig. 6-6) is used to turn the unit on
and off.
Vertical key position: unit switched off.
Horizontal key position: unit switched on.
The key can be withdrawn only in vertical position (0).
Operating the Emergency Stop switch (2, Fig. 6-6) blocks
laser light emission immediately.
To operate the switch, press the red pushbutton.
This does not disconnect the laser from the power supply.
The pushbutton locks home when pressed. To resume
operation, you need to pull out the button first.
Before starting the first operation on each day of
use, test the safety function provided by the
Emergency Stop switch!
See section 8.1 "Periodic Maintenance", page 90.
The Emergency Stop switch is marked with a STOP
symbol (3, Fig. 6-6) attached below the red button.
