7.4 Setting the DHW setpoint

If no key is pressed for 5 sec, the set value is taken as the new DHW setpoint.
7.5 Safety stop
If faults arise during ignition or operation, the boiler makes a "SAFETY
STOP". The display shows the error code in question. For the details,
refer to "4.13 Faults and reporting
Reset function
Contact the local Technical Assistance Centre if the release attempts fail
to reactivate normal operation.

Temporary switch-off

In the event of temporary absences (weekends, short breaks, etc.) set
the status of the boiler to OFF.

While the electrical supply and the fuel supply remain active, the boiler is
protected by the systems:
ƒ heating anti-freeze: this function is activated if the temperature
measured by the flow sensor drops below 5°C. A heat request is gen-
erated in this phase, with burner ignition at the minimum output (then
maintained until the delivery water temperature reaches 35°C); the
display shows AF1
ƒ DHW anti-freeze: this function is activated if the temperature meas-
ured by the domestic hot water probe drops below 5°C. A heat re-
quest is generated in this phase, with burner ignition at the minimum
output (then maintained until the delivery water temperature reaches
55°C); the display shows AF2
ƒ circulator anti-locking: The circulator activates every 24 hours of
stop for 30 seconds.
7.7 Switching off for lengthy periods
If the boiler is not used for a long time, the following operations must be
carried out:
ƒ set the OFF status
ƒ set the system's main switch to "off"
ƒ turn off the fuel and water taps of the heating and domestic hot water
system.
In this case, the anti-freeze and anti-blocking systems are deactivated.
Drain the heating and domestic water system if there is any risk of freezing.

7.9 Alarm history
The alarm history is active with parameter 701=1 (SERVICE).
Alarms can be viewed:
- INFO menu (from I039 to I043), in chronological order, from the most recent
to the oldest, up to a maximum of 5.
- on OT+ remote control, if connected.
When an alarm occurs several times in a row, it is stored only once.
To reset the alarm, follow the instructions provided in paragraph "7.5 Sa-
fety stop ".

7.10 GATEWAY connection "Riello Wifi key"
The boiler can manage the connection to a wifi router via the Riello Wifi
key product (accessory). Communication to the gateway is activated by
parameter 801 (SERVICE).
When the key is connected to the wifi router, the icon is fixed:
When the key lacks the connection, the icon flashes:
Under item I038 (RADIO SIGNAL) of the INFO menu, you can see
the intensity of the radio signal (0 = very weak, 1 = weak, 2 = good, 3 =
excellent, 4 = very good).
7.11 FEEDER BOTTLE function
The Feeder Bottle function is used to block the value of the DHW set-
point, to prevent anyone from accidentally modifying it.
To activate the function from the setpoint DHW screen:
