Possible cause/consequence
The coolant level is too low.
The steering wheel has not yet moved to
the saved position.
The left-hand and/or right-hand cornering
lamp* is faulty.
The right-hand or left-hand dipped-beam
headlamp is faulty.
The active light function* is faulty.
The light sensor is faulty. Constant head-
lamp mode is switched on.
Possible solution
Top up the coolant, observing the warning

notes before doing so ( page 180).

Have the coolant system checked at a qualified

specialist workshop if the coolant needs top-
ping up more often than usual.
Wait until the steering wheel has moved to the

saved position.
Replace the bulb ( page 259).
