Its can only be used safely if it is used in compliance with the norms and limitations described in this manual.
Therefore, you should know and respect all the safety instructions reported in this manual and those relative to
the use of the machine.

LIMITATIONS ON USE

• Do not let anyone use this machine before they read and understand this manual.
• Do not let children use this machine.
• Do not wear any loose clothes, since they may get caught in the moving parts of the machine.
Only work in the daylight, or if good artificial lighting is present.

It is strictly forbidden to carry people/animals/loads on the machine while it is working or while it is being transferred.
•
Lower the progression speed when working on a slope or bend, in order to prevent any risk to lose control of the
•
machine.
• Be particularly careful when you are near a ditch/bump/dip.
• Switch off the engine before performing any operations on the machine.
• Never work under the machine or under raised parts, unless they have been blocked and are being held in place in a
sufficiently safe way, and the engine is off.
• When you work on a slope, always proceed transversally, never going upwards or downwards.
• Keep away from electrical wires and obstacles. Contact with electrical wires may cause shock and death.
• In order to avoid being hit by thrown objects, operators must wear:

5.3 DANGEROUS ZONES

Never stop in front of a machine when it is working: you may be hit by debris or objects.

• Always keep a minimum distance of 30 metres: watchers should preferably stay on the side of the machine and at a
sufficient distance.
5.4 SAFETY DEVICES
For the dangerous zones identified in the previous section, some cover carters have been devised, both for the blades and for
the transmission system.
