1 FOREWORD
This machine was built in compliance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and it is certified by the
BEFORE PERFORMING ANY OPERATIONS ON THE MACHINE, OPERATORS AND TECHNICIANS SHOULD CAREFULLY READ THE
INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL (AND ITS ENCLOSURES) AND COMPLY WITH THEM DURING WORK.
IN CASE OF DOUBT ON THE PROPER INTERPRETATION OF THE INSTRUCTIONS, GET IN TOUCH WITH THE CLOSEST CUSTOMER
CARE CENTRE.
1.1 GENERAL INFORMATION
This Manual has been divided into independent chapters, each one of which addresses a specific type of operator
(OPERATOR/USER, MAINTENANCE WORKER), whose skills, necessary to use the machine safely, are defined.
The order of the chapters mirrors the logical sequence in the life cycle of the machine.
In order to make the text easier to understand, some terms and abbreviations are used, whose meanings are reported in the
tables in Section 1.2.2 Pittogrammi and in Section 9.3 GLOSSARIO.
Here follow the meanings of the pictograms for:
the various hazard levels of the "Use and maintenance" operations of the machine;

• the operator's qualification;
• safety, applied to the machine itself.
Their use makes it possible to quickly and unambiguously find the necessary information to use the machine properly and safely.
RECIPIENTS

This manual is for:
Operators/Users, Qualified People to the maintenance of the machine and all the Personnel who can interact or use the
machine at any level.
1.2.1 Recipients' qualification
This machine is to be used by qualified people, in particular by people who:
• Are eighteen years or older;
Are physically and mentally suitable to carry out works of a certain degree of technical complexity;

• Have been suitably instructed about the use and maintenance of the machine;
• Are able to understand and interpret the user manual and the safety norms;
• Know the emergency procedures and how to apply them;
• Are able to use this specific type of machine;
• Are familiar with the specific norms applicable to this case;
• Understand the operating procedures specified by the producer.
1.2.2 Pictograms
Descriptions preceded by a pictogram include:
Very important information/prohibitions, particularly safety ones.
Non compliance with them may result in:
risks for operators' safety;

• invalidity of contract warranty;
• waving of any liabilities on the part of the producer.
