PRELIMINARY CHECKS

• Make sure that the stickers reporting safety instructions are in order and in good conditions.
• Make sure that the machine is free of debris and plant residues.
• Make sure that all the screens, grids and safety protections are in order and in good conditions.
Before starting the engine
Perform a visual check in order to detect any liquid leakages and any defective or missing parts. Perform repair works
•
before using the machine again.
• Make sure that the oil level is not below the minimum: unscrew the cap located in the back of the engine, clean the
dipstick with a rag and screw the cap in again. Unscrew again and check if the level lies between the minimum and the
maximum marks. If the level is below the minimum threshold, add oil until a suitable level is reached. (ask your local
supplier for a suitable oil).
WARNING!!! THE MACHINE IS SUPPLIED WITHOUT ANY ENGINE OIL
Make sure that all the screws are very tight.

Make sure that all the levers are in neutral position.
•
Clean the air filter if there are any impurities.
•
Refuel the machine, using a funnel equipped with a filter.
•
• Open the fuel tap and, if present in the engine, operate the starter located on the carburettor.
• In order to start a cold engine, turn the fuel knob on the START position and wait a few minutes, until it reaches its work
temperature, before taking it to maximum regime.
• Hold the engine starting knob, then pull it vigorously.
IT IS ADVISABLE TO ALSO FULFIL THE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED IN THE ENGINE MANUAL.
Before starting to work, make sure that there are no people, animals or things within a radius of at least 30 metres, then start
the engine and, after warming it, take it to maximum regime.
4.4 DISPOSAL
Fully disassemble the machine, dividing its parts on the basis of the materials they are made of, and comply with the waste
disposal regulations currently in force.

identify a potential hazard. Attention should be paid to what is drawn or written, in order to guarantee greater safety for the
operator and for anyone within the working radius of the machine.
Read this manual before using the machine; only the instructions in this manual will help you to use it
efficiently and safely.
